Born and raised in Los Angeles, California, Eva Gardner is a second-generation artist and musician. Her father, Londoner Kim Gardner, was an integral part of the British Invasion of the 1960s and 70s. He was the bassist in many influential British bands such as the Creation, the Birds, and Ashton, Gardner & Dyke.
Growing up in a rock 'n roll household, it felt natural for "Little Eva" to followsuit. She began to seriously pursue music at the age of 12.
She went on to study music at the Los Angeles County High School for the Arts. She later went on to earn a degree in Ethnomusicology from UCLA, graduating Cum Laude.
